Just a couple more pics so I can get back to planning for week one of ACARA! I feel like I am back on prac with all these lesson plans!

I am a Great Aunty again! My oldest nephew and his partner have given birth to their first!  He's so cute and so tiny.

New Year new Beginnings!

I have spent the last week getting my classroom ready and doing Professional Development! But the bit I like better is the getting ready bit!  Here are some pics. It's not completely finished yet but I am loving it.  It's all based around a rainbow theme thanks to the most brilliant behaviour management reward system I have ever used.  I will post more photos and info on that later.

I have also "borrowed" an idea from Pinterest and put my Dad to work!

Goodbye good friend

The world lost a very good person last week and we said goodbye to her at her funeral on Thursday. M. was the type of person who really did see the good in everybody, saw the humour in every part of life and also had it organised to a finite point!

I will miss you you more than you know.

Procrastination is the key!

So I am supposed to be cleaning out my study and getting stuff ready for the new year which is starting on Wednesday and I have an eye on facebook for news about a friend (and for notifications about Words with Friends too) when I decide to open up Pinterest and another image distracts me!

And then I glance up to my pile of sticky scrapbooking paper and down to my left to one of my bags that I am taking back to school and in less than 20 minutes this has happened.......

So easy and quick to do. I am just lucky that I can't find any more clips here at home and that I don't have any wooden pegs cause I have a whole lot of new Washi tape calling out my name!

Anyway, must get back to sewing my rainbow bunting, Mum's curtains, my cushions and I may even start a jelly roll quilt too!! Why on earth do I always get motivated to be creative at the end of my holidays?
